    Katie

Meet Katie, the mom part of the mother-daughter equation that launched The Staging Studio. Alongside her daughters, Katie helped turn a long-held dream into a business—built on shared vision, creativity, and a passion for creating beautiful spaces.

Before stepping into the world of home staging, Katie spent years as an Airbnb owner and host, where she discovered her natural talent for creating spaces that are not only beautiful but deeply inviting. With an eye for detail and design, she brings comfort, warmth, and soul into every room she touches—crafting spaces that just feel good to enter.

Beyond staging, Katie is a self-taught watercolor artist, an avid writer, and a t-shirt designer. She loves the great outdoors, and finds inspiration in the wild spaces of her beloved home state of Florida. Her creative life is deeply rooted in nature—often blending art, photography, and storytelling in ways that invite others to slow down and see the beauty right around them.

Her favorite adventures are the ones shared with her husband, Bill, whether they’re exploring Florida’s waterways by boat or setting off in their camper to discover new corners of the wild. Time with her family—especially her two teenage granddaughters—is among her greatest treasures.

Katie says, “I feel deeply grateful to be doing what I love, with people I love, I feel like I’m walking fully in my purpose—with heart, intention, and just a touch of wild abandon…”

By day, she’s a credit union manager, and by passion, she’s an entrepreneur; co-owning three businesses; two with her fiancé: The Linen + Lavender, a charming top-rated Airbnb and Sweet Sunday Golf Cart Rentals. And her latest exciting venture is this: The Staging Studio, a collaboration she dreamt up with her mom and sister.

An Enneagram 8, Aries, and ISTP, Kayla lives for sunshine and that wind-in-your-hair feeling—whether she’s boating, motorcycling, or cruising in a golf cart. She’s a proud Swiftie and a big-time football lover—Go Gators! You can find her living for the weekends, golf carting around downtown Mount Dora, chasing live music, a good view, and a happy hour! Her drive is matched only by her love for home, her family, and making spaces shine!
